Secondary school/Sixth Form

THE NEXT STEPS: SECONDARY SCHOOL AND SIXTH FORM

Under a partnership signed with the Lycée Français Jean Monnet, under the aegis of the French Embassy, EFI students are welcomed with open arms and guaranteed educational continuity at an outstanding international institution up to secondary school level.

EFI Brussels supports students throughout their entire educational journey, from preschool (TPS) up to the final year of Sixth Form (terminale). Students can choose to prepare for the following:

  • International certifications;
  • Diplôme National du Brevet (DNB, equivalent to GCSEs) (international option in final year of secondary school, 14-15 years/Year 10); or
  • A Sixth Form education geared towards the OIB (French Baccalaureate with International Option, equivalent to A-Levels, 15-18 years/Years 11-13).

All features specific to the French education system have been integrated into our secondary teaching at the EFI Brussels: Ancient Languages and Cultures, Non-Language-Related Subjects (DNL) specialist subjects in Sixth Form, etc.

The aim is to prepare and equip our secondary school students for life in Sixth Form. The leadership and teaching teams in our Sixth Form do everything they can to ensure our pupils are ready to pursue ambitious endeavours effectively, either in France or abroad.

Our secondary school and Sixth Form will soon be opening their doors,

providing continuing support to our pupils along their path to success and bilingualism. EFI Brussels has decided to gradually expand its teaching offering.
